Self-assured Wardley Tips the scales at Twenty Pounds Less Lighter Compared to Heavier Parker

The New Zealand fighter stepped onto the scales almost twenty pounds heavier compared to Fabio Wardley as each big men displayed assured poses - although in opposing styles - for this weekend's feature bout in London.
New Zealand's Parker is risking his interim WBO title and opportunity to fight for the world title on the line versus the undefeated Fabio Wardley at the London venue.
Unified top heavyweight Usyk has made clear his aim to defend his world titles against the successful fighter.
"This is the moment. It signifies everything," stated a focused but concentrated Wardley, 30, at yesterday's weigh-in.
Wardley - possessing the WBA 'interim' belt - came in at 110 kg, matching his recent bouts.
"This fight prior to the ultimate challenge. Every effort is done. Training is completed. The intense training is put in. Time for some rest now. Major event tomorrow," he stated further.
Spitalfields Market in London's east end saw beyond typical items on the scales as the pair of fighters confronted each other for the ultimate face-off ahead of the bout.
Joseph Parker gave a wink at the photographers and bobbed along to the beat.
As he flexed his muscles, he looked powerful and forceful as he weighed in at 119 kg, merely a handful of pounds less than his career-heaviest.
It is a major change from the 107 kg version who lost his championship to Joshua in 2018.
"We are cautious, we are careful, but I'm going to respond with equal force and I'm going to get him," Joseph Parker stated.

Fabio Wardley, wearing an Ipswich top, held a serious expression, greeted the audience, but looked zoned in.
Despite being the lighter guy, Fabio Wardley has exceptional knockout power. He staged a dramatic recovery against Justis Huni in the summer, down on the official tallies then defeating his rival in the final round although being outboxed for most of the fight.
"Joseph Parker, his team and supporters will find out I am destined to be at the top of this weight class," Fabio Wardley said.
"All challengers has been the boxer critics claim will beat me. This is that fight. He's exceptional pace, rapid, too experienced. However My record is perfect so far, and no one will shift on fight night."
