The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in California aged 55.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The renowned industry figure died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
